Quality of service

Continue my story about the broadband issue. I logged the call to the helpdesk. As the experience from ‘hell’desk support, I truly understand how to be a cranky caller. (Hehee, revenge time ma…)

However this lady from this lousy telco company really make my 2 thumbs up to her. Not sure if she is young and naïve to cunning customer like me, or she is really that responsible. She even called the support curing after office hour and gets my problem solved in the next day. Incredibly impressed and therefore I wrote her a compliment letter just to recognize her effort.

Again, as from 'hell'desk background, I truly understand how important a few words toward an agent’s satisfaction and confidence. So peoples, please start writing today. Don’t be stingy with your few words!

Consumer

Recently just installed the broadband at home. Still remembered that 2 fellows from the telco is kind of useless because the only thing they did is to delivered the equipment instead of making sure the broadband is working.

I was so furious with their service and eventually I wrote that telco company a complaint regarding to this. Although they called me up and informed will follows but somehow I think they will not refund to me with that service charges, instead will use my complains as excuse and ask that vendor company to reduce the contract price.

Too bad, as a consumer why should we always need to pay, yet still need to receives all the lousy service!

Buyer’s Remorse

Some time ago there was one interviewer taught me this words – buyer’s remorse. Basically what it means is the buyer feels regretted to bought the product after money was paid. I think it is quite applicable to how I feel now. Cause I am getting regretted to signed the treaty??

I think my friends gonna suffer from my never ending complains again if I find out any of my team member taking higher pay than me. Hahaa…

Very unfair treatment!

I experienced to work as a contractor but somehow the benefits still not too bad. However this time the contract they offered was a bit too stingy!

1. Pay by hour, means no work no pay
2. No annual leaves or medical leaves
3. EPF and socso only charge on you, not the company or the headhunter company.
4. No pay for all public or non-public holiday
5. No medical or insurance coverage
6. No allowances
7. Got OT but no chance to work on OT cause company policy encourage Work/Life balance.
8. Basically nothing but only the pay per hour.

Anyhow, I signed the offer letter and commencing to work by 5 FEB… Fast le? Stupid me…

Acceptance

Calling and calling and following up… Never ending calling from the headhunter asking for my decision. But on the other hand they still can’t pay me the remuneration that I requested. Very fed up but friends kept telling me to accept or else my car will be tow if I still holding back.

Very true and very agreed with them. Plus the M factor really causing a lot of trouble to me now and thus finally I die die and called up the headhunter telling I accept the offer. Best is she still challenge me back asking if I really wanted the job. Not sure if she did it on purpose or whatever but i was thinking if I don’t want then I won’t call you la…

So now just waiting the offer letter and hope the company will not be as bad as before, or worse….

Offer

With just few days, they decided to hire me. (Very glad..) But the headhunter said the hiring company would not able to pay the initial price that we agreed and hence insisted to reduce it due to my experience on the skills.

In fact I don’t have the skill for that job and I have told them very frankly too. Furthermore as I know the job might not even require that skill to perform the job. What a lousy excuse. (!@#$%^) I think either the headhunter wanna cons my money by cutting down my pay, or just the hiring company bulls**ting...!!

Phone interview

This is the first time I experienced the phone interview. Headhunter told me the interviewer will called me by 2pm and yes! They really called me very on time.

A bit disappointed when I understand the purpose they called. Cause only asking if I willing to do some administration work instead of pure project. Well, no choice but to say yes since I am jobless now and way too poor to say no. Hahaa…

Hope they will make their decision very soon and hire me asap as my wallet is getting very dry!

Good news!

Headhunter told me that the interviewer would like to phone interview for further information. But she just told me that they wanna ask something and not sure what is that. I wonder if they will ask if I can travel heavily or not. If yes sure I will be deadly happy!! Hahaa…

Festive!

Christmas and New Year had just over and Chinese New year is on the way. Well here we begin another chapter of brand new oink oink year and I wish everyone to have a brand new good start.

For me, few days ago I received the call from my headhunter about this job that I applied last October. I was very happy and today I went to the interview. Somehow the interview was quick, indeed real quick. Just 20 minutes and I am done. Hahaa.

Although I am not very sure what is the job scope but I hope to get the job cause that’s a very good company. I still remember I re-clarifying what is this job about at the end of the session. Even when I step out from the room, I still feel that I am very blur.

Very miserable and pessimistic now…
