Manson new Album

I am listening to Heart Shape Glasses now and I am telling you this song is truly awesome. The only thing I dislike is Manson seems to put in more love elements. In fact you can tell from his previous album Mechanical Animal, where the music is evolving but still not that obvious.

Wedding

Tonight I am going for the wedding of my cousin sister. Finally another sister is getting married and for this year until now, I think I have been attended about 5 wedding dinner.

Well that’s not all because coming soon in average of each month I will gonna attend one wedding. Impossible isn’t it but it is true. The best is I was even invited to attend an oversea wedding at HK coming this October.

I am excited since never experience an oversea wedding before but still hasn’t decided due to my leaves register and financial. So if I can make hell a lot of money from here then most properly I will go… After all its best friend and only once in a life time.

Landscape Design

My mom loves gardening. Well our house is not too big but however have a small garden for her to spend time in taking care of all her favorite plants, grass, tress and fishes.

One thing I notice is that she always likes to move the things around because she said the vase may block the children running around and thus cause accident. I am not the professional Landscape Design therefore each time she ask me then I will simply put her to wrong direction and ended she moved all the things over again.

Dental Care

I have written 3 posts and approved since 1 month ago. Last week I file in a report for Bloggerwave (BGW) because I have not receive any payment from them and I suspected that is my Paypal ID problem. That is why I submit a request trying to understand the reason.

Today I receive this reply from them, take a look:

“Hi Kok, We have checked your PayPal id and it is working fine. As your query is sales related, I would therefore request you to kindly contact our Sales Team at sales-team. We hope that we were able to satisfy your query. Please feel free to contact us if you still have any unanswered queries. Thanks and regards, Techsupport Team. I got to know from CP that BGW might be the fraud, but seems like they are still operating after from what I got above. However I just shoot another email to the sales team and waiting their reply. Stay tunes and lets see what will happen next. Hehee.

Bye-bye Blister

My first time of ice-skating is a terrible experience because I almost cannot walk for the rest of 3 days. Why? Because the skater shoe is very tight and hard and although it fits my feet but the inner surface of the shoe hard like a shell and keep scratching my toe.

Thanks to the 2 hours skate my leg was also suffered from the blister in almost each angle. From then on I never dare to try on ice-skating until now. However now I don't have to worry anymore as ENGO have this wonderful Foot Pain Relief product from preventing blister.

Sunny

Again, living in the tropical whether like Malaysia is devastating. When it is summer (although we don’t have 4 seasons), you can’t really see a cloud in the sky, nor the bird too. As it just too hot and feels like steaming in the giant oven.

The ground is so heat up and yet the whether will continue drying for few days (even weeks) without a drop. According to scientific study, under some extreme circumstance the water will get steam up in the air before it becomes rain and fall into the land. So I think this phenomenon is happening here.

As such, I went to the vending machine for a can of Coke to refresh myself because I even feel the heat in the office. Lucky day! I got free drinks because someone inserted money in the machine but forgotten to press the drink.

Not bad for a sunny day.

Thunder

Living in the tropical whether like Malaysia is devastating. When it rain, you can see the thunder and lightning striking around the sky and the ground. Few days ago were a good example. I was sitting at the office balcony reading a document because wanna feel the breeze of the rain. Without any pre-sign (ie. flash, sounds.. nop, just nothing), the thunder just strike into the building opposite all out of sudden

At that point I thought I was dead because it just happened right in front of my eyes. Consider pretty close. Luckily I was not the one who witnessed it because there is another colleague having his cigarette break. But he doesn’t look good either as his face all pale up with mouth open catching flies.

We went back into office immediately and I beginning to understand why Chinese always like to curse people strike by lightning, as it does happened – without warning.

Dating

Everyone knows I like to watch the reality series – America Next Top Model. In the 8th season of the series there was a lady with blondish hair and a pair of hypnotized green color eyes.

She took consistently gorgeous pictures and I was so amazed and attracted by her beauty and even felt her feminism out from the TV. As of what I know russian women are famous internationally as the most beautiful women in the world. They prefer to get to know a person before creating a more serious bond or marriage.

I think I will consider moving to Russia and date the Russian lady if I still can’t find a girlfriend or a better job in KL.

Laptop Failure

This is the office laptop. In fact initially this does not belongs to me, but due to my own set haven’t arrive yet. Therefore the admin ‘borrowed’ her laptop for me. When the new set came, I am too lazy to reinstall all the software and thus remain it and give the new set to the admin.

The laptop work perfectly fine in the beginning but failed to load and hang after 2 months. The worse is coming as one day about last few weeks ago; the screen suddenly went total black out. I felt the CPU is still running and go to the nearest docking for external monitor since haven’t save my work.

Luckily managed to do so as it displayed out, and problem resolved when I rebooted the machine. However it happened again almost by weekly. But due to the warrantee helpdesk couldn’t change the laptop but to replace the faulty hardware for me.

How I wish they could change it so I can get the latest Vista installed together with the new machine.

Exhausted

I am exhausted not because of the work, but the time I spent in blogging now. I address myself as blogging ghost (previously crowned it to CP) because I am following her path trying to get as much as possible.

Somehow cant compare with her since she earning 10x the better than me. I can’t imagine how she can tahan because she have 3 blogs to jaga. For me, my symptoms are obvious. I can’t get up in the morning with 2 alarm clocks. I can’t even hear the ring until my body auto jump up and saw the short hand is pointing 9.

That’s not all, my daily performance drop until almost 0. I can’t think in the morning, neither at night. Sometimes I can only stare at the screen and keep refreshing the opportunities page, terrible isn’t it. I think I need to start balance back my zzz time.

Too Fake

Working with Guai Lo is fun. Although sometimes I can’t even catch what their saying in the discussion. Especially the British bawang, very strong accent. But somehow they will all very happy as long as you say ‘Yes’.

Perhaps the culture and education system is totally the other way. As an Asian I was raised to abide the conservative thinking. Therefore no matter what I did also receives criticism in improving better. This is the major ‘why’ I always only say yes because I see the room that I can do it. But the reality of can or cannot is later business.

Comparing back to Westerner, they are more towards appreciations. It is very fun when you present a same piece of work to Guai Lo and Asian. Both have different response. For Guai Lo, they will compliment you from email, personally and until the whole participant in the teleconference is clapping for your good work. But for Asian, only 1 sentence: I don’t like to make it so fancy lo…

Well, although sometimes I thought Guai Lo may go a bit too fake, but who care, as long as I like it. Hahaa… After all who don’t like to listen flowery words, right? Further can help in my so called ‘morale and motivation’. Hahaa…

Power Failure

Office Bed

This is my dream. I always hope to find a company that will provide bed for employee to sleep. (Not necessary zzz but also to rest if tired or not feeling well.)

Over the past few years throughout my best effort in suggesting and convincing the employer in buying a bed, but I was failed because this is a ridiculous idea for them. Coming to the 6th job (including industrial training), I finally found it now!

My current company provides a sleeping room with 4 beds. Both gents and ladies are separated. The zzz room is a very dark and cold, sealed and silence. Sometimes I feel like zzz in a fridge… But don’t judge the book by the cover, because so far I can only manage to sleep there twice.

Not because I am too busy but the zzz room is so popular till I can’t get a place. Especially lunch hour from 12pm – 2pm, don’t even think can get a chance! I am so lucky only because the first time I went there by 11.45am, second time is 6.15pm and you know what. Even if this is an odd hours but there are still somebody zzz inside before me. Incredibly unbelievable…

After talking so much, I think it is time for me to try my luck now… zzz… hahaa…

I subscribed to Maxis broadband and they free one modem to me. But in my house got total of 2 phones port and the free modem gotta be attach to my sister room.

In order for me to access Internet freely then I gotta buy an extra modem to fit into another port located in the living hall. So I bough I wireless router modem 4 in 1 because my pc and laptop can both share cable and wireless.

Somehow my PC seems crawling as the wireless signal very2 low from my room to the point. And another problem also occur is when I access Internet, my sister cannot. Because each time only 1 port is allow to access. I don’t plan to buy another wireless dongle for my sister since it seems like wireless is not working for me.

Joy and Sad

Last 2 weeks on Friday night when I having a tea session with my friends after work. I received a text message from my cousin asking if I am going to Pandan Indah.

I am not sure what happened because she is not staying there, nor other relative. So I called her back cause I thought she must have sent the message to wrong people. However when she answered, then I knew… Cause I eldest auntie passed away in the morning and all the relatives gathered there for the funeral.

In fact I am not really close with this auntie because basically I think I spoke to my manager more than her. But somehow still have the sense of sorrow cause after all she is my close relative. It is so complicated because just a week ago, another cousin sister of mine announces that she is going to marry next month.

Monday Blue

Apparently it seems that I started to develop this very bad behavior that making me neglected to work. It just coincident that this is happened in all the Monday because it is the beginning of the week.

For the people who know me, they are all aware that I preferred to spend the ‘awake’ time during night instead of brightly sunny day. But I am forcing to follow the beat due to the working hours. Therefore I appreciates weekend very much and most of the time I will stay late, sometimes until morning.

It is ok to stay awake during Friday and Saturday night as I can still rest on the next day. But recently I tend to over appreciated the weekend and starting to staying late even during Sunday night. Well you know la, partially have to stay late for the sake of grabbing more posts ma… Therefore every Monday now I seem a bit corpsy walking around the office.

I think my kelig all also aware because some even came by and asked if I am ok. If this continue, then most prob’ly I should request working for Euro hours…

Driving Pleasure

Although I was fine by many many summons, but it still can’t reduce my interest in driving. I love driving in the hassle or congested free condition. Provided if it almost about to rain, the sky spawning by dark cloud and you can wind down the windows and feel the cooling breeze… Love it.

But you know driving in KL is almost impossible to avoid jam. And that’s is why I developed this habit when I stuck in the jam >> observing what other drivers do. Sometimes I will also encounter some extreme case, where the driver like to dig nose, talk over the phone like it’s free, or even sleep at the junction traffic light. Observing all these sorts of behavior also makes me absorbed some; I do sing a lot in car lately and tune the stereo loud. But most importantly, if next time you happened to see someone staring at you next to the car, don’t panic. That might be me, or others person is picking up on how you kill the time during heavy traffic. Hahaa…

I Hate Summons

CP just confirm with me that I kena the god x summons from the god x government again.

I am not complaining but just furious because first I can’t control my speed. Secondly our government here is very tricky and cunning. They like to cons the public in the highway by putting a board asking to reduce speed and also indicating that is the camera area so people will aware. Somehow I never see any camera there and even though they have, it will never work.

However the government likes to ambush the public by putting the camera somewhere else, mostly under the bridge. Thanks to the very advance ideas from our beloved minister of transportation (the one who always like to put fake hair one le…). You can see flyover almost in every 1 km in the city highway.

Therefore it is kinda impossible to know where they are and when you will kena another summons. I think from now on I should really seriously consider modifying my car to have a max of 80 so I wont have speeding problem anymore.

Living under the motivation of CP, today I was filled with high hopes and spirits because I wanted to grab as much posts as possible from PPP. I even wrote many interim posts in order to save some time in grabbing more.

Ban ME

I think PPP is going to ban me very soon because lately I received a lot of rejected post from them due to many many reasons. Somehow I think I already in the condition of confused on what I have done wrong. (Although they specifically put it there like interim post error, date or etc)

I got one post which rejected me 3 times and now still pending in my reject list because I clearly don’t understand what they want me to do. The error as below:

The previous error for this post is something about the interim and therefore I adjusted the date to the most recent in order for me to write another interim post to insert in between. Now I will try to move it back to the date I submit, hopefully no more error from them or else I really hope I can call them up and ask instead of keep receiving one way channel kinda message/instruction.

Further My Study

Recently I think it is imperative for myself to enhance my knowledge to next level. Therefore I thought of go for mba courses because this will definitely help out in my career path.

Friends around me have started their journey to take on the challenge but for me, I am still drawing back due to the time needed in concentrating the studies. Today I came across Capella.edu, which I am not only writing for money but also considering in taking part.

Tension…

Every since my kelig went to maternity, my workload seems arising tremendously. (But I can still squeeze time to write blog la, hehee..)

Well in fact there isn’t much workload, just that I think is because I don’t have someone to discuss and hence all the decisions and brainstorming gotta be done by myself. I truly understand how this feeling is to be because I’ve been in the same situation since the days under my ex-boss claws.

Long long Journey

I started traveling in between office and home since last year. I was lucky to get a rental of a house last year before I left my previous company. Thus I don’t really have much complain in the long, tired, exhausted, and congested journey.

However my current job also in the same far far away location. But this time I am not that lucky in getting a rental place. So I gotta travel thru and fro everyday, together with the high cost yet congested tolls (not 1 but 3). These really upset me and therefore sometimes I prefer to have a drink with some friends instead of going home straight from office.

But you know, sometimes you just hope to get home earlier so that can have more resting time. Therefore I tried it yesterday by leaving company by 5.30pm. At the beginning of the journey was great, smooth without many vehicles. But when it comes to the second toll, damn… Massive jammed with incredible hot weather (due to few days not raining).

I think the best way for me is either stay back in office til 7pm, or better still is to rent a house nearby again.

I learned about the terms VPN during my first company because we are asked to support it. (No choice…)

My First Team Meeting

Tragedy. I was hired by this headhunter company and contracted to this user company. Somehow my luck wasn’t that good when I on the job. Because departmentally, I am belongs to department A but was sold to department B then supporting department C.

So in total I am actually sub-contracted 5 times and I think my pay also got deducted 5 times due to the leveling of each company. But the worse I think is my work also required 5 times of attention when it comes to approval of something. Apart from work, I am also required to attend different meetings in order to have the knowledge and peoples so can perform my job.

Working under this intense environment, I learned that each department has different way of running their operation. My very own department (which is my direct reports boss) is a guy with a very straightforward personality. He doesn’t really calculative and that’s why I think this is the major reason he always leave my colleague and myself out from the pictures. (Since we are sub-con’ed so far away…)

Finally today after waited for 3 months plus, I got a chance to participated my very first own team meeting. Honestly, I feel very strange to looking at my ‘teammates’ as I feel like I don’t even belong to the team at all… Somehow I think everything must have a start, therefore I hope this is a good heads up for me towards my boss and teammates.

By the way, haven’t told you the very worse. Which is this user company is outsourcing soon. I think I will contracted 6 times by then…

My ex-company sits just one floor above the bank. Last night I went back there to do some banking, I met few keligs and surprisingly I feel that we are much more closer comparing before I left the company.

FYI, They are all too young to go shopping alone, as they are only 13, 12 and 8 years old. But I am glad that they are all mature enough for wanted to grab something for their mom. So our mission is on at Saturday night.

I bought the ticket for 9.30pm show and they finished their tuition class by 6pm. So we got enough time to wander around 1 utama. We started to invade Parkson U for some women’s jewelry or cosmetic, but unfortunately been back off due to the budget limitation. Then we move forward to florist, but failed to acquire any also because my sister will buy flower every year. So we decided not to follow the same tricks. We want surprise and suitable for both mothers. So decided to go for SK-II cleanser/moisturizer cream for grandma, and treatment mask for my nephew’s mama.

Upon reaching Jusco cosmetic department, No. 2 (the nickname I gave to all 3 of them by following the sequence... haha…) spotted the SK-II counter. He came back to me with the info he gathered, where the gift set cost RM400+. At that point of time I am thinking it’s ok, because I don’t really looking in to complete set but to buy it individually. (Thought cheaper ma). So we approach the counter to check price. But we are all frighten and retreated at least 3 feet away from the counter after knowing the prices.

Incredibly expensive! Cleanser around 150, Mask around 250 and moisturize cream around 350!! Although they are young, but all of us got frighten off with the sky-high price. At last, we ended up with empty handed but having simple BBQ at home cause my sister bought the ingredient.

Sigh, what a looser in mother’s day. But I hope my lesson will reflect good examples to others husband/boyfriend/son reader out there also >>> think twice before you walk into women cosmetic department.

More than Money

My brother and myself are the superfans for PlayStation. I remember when the Playstation 1 first launched, my brother went to buy and we played almost non-stop for months. Same thing happened when PlayStation 2 launched. With the high motion graphic and quality sounds, we are addicted to it.

PP - Paypal

I opened a Paypal account when i registered the paid post service. Paypal play a very important role for all the blogger because the money will be sent to the account.

To open is easy, just fill in the name and basic info then can start waiting money to flow in. But when you receive the very first payment, you will asked to enter either bank account or credit card for verification. For my case I put credit card, cause i afraid some other people may fraud. But if it does happened, then at least i can lodge a complain to card center so that I wont have loosses.

So far I am happy with this approach because still not too much. Until today when I receive payment from a provider, I got prompted and requesting to enter my bank info. I felt very uneasy as how can I make sure they will not simply enquiry about my account, or also make a fraud as authorise party to withdraw all the money? As we know there are quite a long lists of terms and condition, and honestly I didn't really go through it one by one.

I heard other blogger has filed in a ticket for Paypal asking if this is the error. But if it is not, I think either I will discontinue, or just open a dummy account purely receives the money from Paypal. If you have better suggestion, please x3 let me know how also... TQTQTQ.

End Beat - FLY FM

Back in last year, our local radio station - FLY FM started this game called 'End Beat'. The game is a tiny beat of tune of a very end of a song.

Normally they will opened the queue to call for public around 9am (which i am on my way to office). So usually I will locked on the station because the amount of cash has rolled to 18,RM000!!! The DJs even used to top up the amount to 500 each day to attract more peoples to identify the tune. The funny thing is the tune sounds like Justin Timberlake songs and many audience gave the same but wrong answer until the DJ got freak out.

Finally today a lady name Zee identified the tune. Congrats to her as the RM18,500 has been given out now and of course, my hope also went off (as i try to call also). I think other than me, there will be a lot of other audience will no longer lock on the station anymore due to the attraction has gone..

Missed Again

This is the second time I missed the post from PPP. I wrote 2 posts in the morning and wanted to grab the third, who knows PPP returned me it was no longer available.

But comparing with first time, this time is better. Because the first time I even wrote the posts and published, then only found out it was taken. Damn frustrating and regretted. I think must find some alternative approach for me write faster in order to grab more posts. Otherwise I will not achieve my target liao!!

I Love PPP

It is really a line between love and hate for me towards PPP. I have been hearing my friends earning from PPP but somehow due to my laziness I always postpone the registration.

Teaching in Korea?

I am not a score A student but I trying to pick up as much language as possible. Recently I started Korean language again (which I left off for years ago). The intention is simple, I wanna work in Korean and perhaps teaching English/Chinese language apart from the full time job.

Low Battery

Recently I noticed my phone battery can’t last long as usual. The battery bar will start dropping in just 1 day. Then the second day will be worse as it will total die within few hours if I don’t recharged.

I went to lowyat and replaced with a “cap burung” battery, but still the same. It makes me suspect this isn’t the battery problem anymore but the phone instead. But strange is my phone only about 2 years old. Some more is one of the well-known brands that renowned in long lasting. Best is this phone is original version, not the water part. So what’s the different for me to buy pirate since the original cant even compete the advantages…

Damn, I think its time to change phone liao… Any recommendation ar?
