Finally, we managed to watch the Fantastic 4 last night. No FFK incident happened. Lucky, hahaa.

Talking about the movie, in fact the main selling point is not really about the Silver Surfer but love. It is about the will of getting married, raise a family and the most disappointed one will be the Silver Surfer is there to protect his loves one and his planet?? (The movie doesn't explain it clear, or I didn't catch it...)

However, the movie does revealed few possibilities for them to continue the next series:
1. The Silver Surfer represented that there are other life form besides human. From there on the Fan4 may need to look for the source of the power that turned them into freaks. Or some other alien that might already have similar power as them and they gotta fight for their country only. (As per what the general said in the movie).

2. The next generation of Sue Storm and Richard Reed. An enormous new freak with enhance and absolutely new power to defeat the enemy, or threatening the human?

3. Von Doom. Yes, again. As he just drown in the water, but not yet dead.

Although the movie is quite short but it is still worth to buy the ticket and watch in the cinema. But make sure its Wednesday!

Writing Email

I admit that my grammar sucks. I've been rejected once from the paid post provider due to my grammar, and I was told to paste the post in a word processor to check. (which I did but still don't understand what is the error... hopeless..)

Recently my job seem to solely monitoring the functional mailbox. I am totally fine with it because indirectly this is helping me to practice my writing. I am happy that my job required me to deal with the peoples from Europe only. Although they are not easy to handle and always have a lot of complain towards the complicated process, but I am glad to receive their email because I can learn how they write.

For me now, instead of having a correct sentence but it is also important that the recipient gets the message across. If you really want me to choose which one I preferred, I would go for the second. Cause what for if the email is so poetic but at the end nobody understand it? Agree?

As I told you before I am so wanted to watch all the recent blockbusters like Pirates of Caribbean 3, Spidyman 3, Shrek 3 and all others in the theater. Some how I failed because this friend of mine refused to watch animation in the cinema. Reason being is not worth it wor...

On top of loosing the Shrek3, I hope that I wont miss the rest like Transformer, Harry Potter, Resident Evil etc. Besides, I am going to watch Fantastic 4 tonight. Hope my friends wont ffk me la...

Adult Education

Being in the customer service professional we are always looking and pursuing the best in satisfying all the requests from the customer.

Although I was graduated from the Information System Engineering but I am not working at the same field, and I was started as customer service. Until today I am still not regret in choosing the path because after all I still got the chance to use my IT/programming skill in helping the company. This is an advantage for me because I know a little extra than others.

However my learning curve will not stop there because as time moving on, we can't just use the same old skill for the next 10 years. Choosing the right path and something that I am interested in play a very important role because this way can keep me from burning out. But somehow we are just human and tends to get bored easily. Therefore I think it is imperative by engaging adult education like coaching in order to helps myself on appreciative and empowering view of my own future.

Malaysia Culture

After stopping for so long, i feels like i have thousand stories to write. But somehow maybe there are too many, until I am not sure which one to tell you first.

Ok, lets start with this...

Last week i went to dinner alone somewhere nearby office area. I found the culture in Malaysia is very very super dopa hyper extremely different from other countries. Say in western country, black and white is using different accent. Whereas in Asia is just the other way round. Eg. PH and TH: no matter what ethnicity also use the same language. I met few pure Chinese but couldn't speak Chinese.

Back in Malaysia, although we have many different races here but our language all got mixed up. We can speak each other's language very well. Like I told you my dinner incident, in fact they are 2 Indians and 1 Malay sitting together. But Indian speak English to each other, and use Bahasa to speak with the Malay colleague. The best is, the languages used were in fact mixed with Chinese like, ma. mer?, lo.. etc..

I think ar other countries should really learn from us and see the power of Malaysia. See how incredible our language ability are, and how harmony we live with each other.

End to Begin

Had been stopped blogging for few days because last week was truly exhausted. I don't even have time to online in the afternoon and the only thing i do is work.

I think this is very common when the project comes to the dawn. Rushing for the last minute coordination, checking the loophole, clearing the issue logs, pending items etc etc. No matter how many effort spent to prepared but will still ended up like a dog.

Finally today my project has go into production - LIVE in operation. The end of the project is the beginning of the operations. I had the last project meeting with my transition mgr and project mgr. Although filling flowery words but I truly believe they cant wait to hand over the torch for the operational team - moi...

Somehow I feels very unhappy for finishing this project. First is i gotta do something i dislike, secondly i think i will not have as much free time as doing the project because we got KPI reports.. I think this is the major reason why i hate operations - no freedom.

Anyway, lets see how it goes and perhaps i can only stay here for another 6 months, or even shorter.

It was all coincident with this number. This is the number for this post because finally I have written 222nd posts for this year. Secondly this is the time of my very first post also and this is again the date of my closed friend’s birthday and we just met and have dinner today.

He made me mad today because he locked out my company laptop, which basically screwed all my plans. I planned to work from home tomorrow and going out at 8pm. Somehow this idiot locked my machine and I am forced to go back office tomorrow to unlock it and send a very important email.

The best is he doesn’t even apologize but still teasing and tai chi that this is not his fault as he only failed to unlock once. Well basically I just plug off from office and went home straight and he was the only one who touched the machine and I am very sure he locked it.

Initially I already thought of writing this post about him in a nice way. However due to this incident, I begin to really hate his immature attitude… Damn!

Back to Yamate

I started of learning Japanese since 2002/2003. It was provided by the ex-company because we are working in call center and encourage in picking up more languages.

The courses have been continuing for about 1-2 year (too long, cant remember) and we are there just for fun because nobody will take it seriously, at least I am not. But thanks to the heads up from the course I took the exam few years after that and surprisingly I passed with high mark…

Maybe the confidence level was high and therefore now I am back in next level. I am not sure why I so keen in learning that since not applying at work not wanna work in Japan. Just that… dunno why.

Disneyland

I never been to Disneyland but I agreed that it is the biggest and proudly animation kingdom that ever built. My very first animation watch in the cinema is Beauty and the Beast. I watched it at my primary school and from then on I follow almost every animated movie from Disney.

It is delightful that Hong Kong have developed Disneyland but from what I heard that each one will have different experiences. I wish I could visit every single of it but if I really have to choose, then I go opt for Orlando’s Disneyland.

Orlando is ever changing. With the ever competitive theme park business most all the area theme parks are continuously adding new rides and new attractions as there is stiff competition among all the theme parks. I think the Disneyland there will also upgraded subsequently. Most of all, accommodation in Orlando is very convenient compare to other places, like Orlando vacation villa rentals that cater for whole family.

Survivor

I like to have the adventurous game and journey. From young age I have already started to watch all these series about the survivor sow like Alien, The Game etc. Until today, my interest continues with the reality TV series like Survivor, The Amazing Race, Discovery Channel’s – I Shouldn't Be Alive etc.

It is true that I would really like to experience this kind of situation because I like adventurous journey. During my school time I have been joining Scout, Red Cross society and all sorts of camping. I believed all these fundamental survival courses and practices would help me if I happened to be abandoned somewhere I don't know without anyone to rely on.

In case I really got abandoned in some unknown city without any familiar faces. The first I will find is telephone. With the knowledge of technologies I believe it should be easier for me to contact someone I know. Of course money is the key point in order to survive. Therefore looking for a job, even a simple one would be necessary in exchange of food while waiting for help.

Although I do not have the experience to these situation but there will be one brand new TV series coming soon - USA Network's Burn Notice. The story is about an international spy who was blacklisted and dumps in his hometown of Miami without money or resource.

The show is starring by Jeffrey Donovan as Michael Westen, and Gabrielle Anwar as Fiona Glenanne - the ex-girlfriend. Wanna learn how you can survive? Stay tune on time for Burn Notice.

House Warming

Perhaps it is good day. This weekend I got 2 friends moving into their new home respectively. One on Saturday and another on Sunday.

My mama always said knowing too many friends is indeed pros and cons. Well here is the downsize of it: wedding, new born, birthday, house warming and sometimes even hospital visits. I am not complaining but lately just got too many of this invitation. Although I know it will only happened in these few years since everyone is at the age of forming family. However again I still think is too much.

Time to seriously consider working oversea and shut myself in front of them. Hahaa…

If 女人 is shoppaholic then 男人 must be downloadholic.

Shopping is 女人的天性and has been planted in their root when they first made. The best example will be Eva. She has started the shopping spree by buying the rib from Adam even before she was made.

Well this example clearly stated that 女人 was made to be shoppaholic, and yet still remains the same until today. For男人n, on top of being taught on how to sell (body?), 男人has also evolved. We took it one step further to adept the technology era. We are now still stick back to selling but instead of getting the resource from the body we got it from Internet.

As long as you name we, we download it the resell it. See how harmony is the world now? 男人sell女人buy.

Forfeit

I have to forfeit my two precious posts from BGT. Although I still have 10 minutes in completing it but I don't think I have any more ideas in writing both the paid and the interim posts.

But I will not sad as at least I completed 6 out of 8 paid post for the same topics at the same day in 2 hours time. Not to forget to mentioned 12 interim posts that I have written just to make up the rules and also the time I spent during office hour.

Hopefully all of the written one will approve and good-bye my precious posts… I will miss you both. (Please forgive me; I am a bit out of line after loosing so many brain juices…)

As working and studying from the IT background makes me understand how important the cyber security is.

There are many possibilities in committing a cyber crime by using the Internet and the technology. Nowadays cyber crime is very common because there are almost everything can be happened online like money laundering, frauds and even go into the extend of relations cheating.

Unwell

My stomach causes a lot of troubles for me during the past few years and it is still giving me the same problem now.

Somehow all the good foods are bad for health and my weakly tiny mind always cannot against the delicious food and that's why I got today’s illness…

Neglected

There are few paid post topics that I am very neglected in writing now because they have been posted many many times in the opportunity. But somehow I still take it as can’t resist the power of the money.

Especially when comes to every week the payment day. I am very please to see the long list of accept button in Paypal waiting for me to click it. But then I am now running out of ideas in writing the same topic again and again. The worse is I know they sure have more to come in future… Please tell me what to do.

Quality Analyst

I joined my previous company and started as Quality Analyst before I moved as process architect. Being a quality analyst one of my major roles is to monitor the call for the helpdesk agent.

The intention of doing call monitoring is to judge the customer service skill based on the call and transform it into the scorecard. Then at the end of the month will use the scorecard and rate the KPI for the agents. One of session can't be missed will be the coaching. Every month end will have to sit with the agent and play 2 good and 2 weak calls to evaluate.

I have not been to any professional coaching course but from the experience I got I think I am learning from the agents during the coaching session. I think in order for me to excel in coaching capella university will be the best choice because have the coaching course offering for needed people like me.

Story Teller

I found bloggers are very similar with the comic writers. Comic writers transform their thoughts into the pictures but bloggers channel their expression into website.

Now I am not sure what is my intention of writing. On top of writing for money but for me writing blog is much more like a form to release my stress. Although most of them are BS but aren’t we suppose to do so?

Busy Day

Today I was quite busy, not because of work but personal (?)

In fact this week is begin with slow pace of work. Since the project is coming to the end and that is why most of the work is only wrapping up. I think because of that I am not busy and when I check on my calendar, most of it is either non-related or just optional for me to participate.

However today I am busy because don't know why there are a lot of peoples calling. Basically I just shifted my seats out at the balcony instead of my cub… Busy…

Changing Field

I started off as a customer support analyst, and then moved into programming. Due to my outspoken characteristic, I was invited to join the IT Presales team. After doing presales for a year plus, I got bored and decided to try something new, and I ended up in IT service centre for more 5 years.

In the past 10 years of working, I had changed 5 jobs and my job has become less and less interesting. There aren’t many after office hour activities, and there are less lunch mates to hang out with. Maybe because of the office culture now or ME. Have you ever wondered if you would stay with one company forever? I think, if I would stay with my first company which is doing Accounting, I don't think I would earn as much as now. Besides that, I think I will have no courage to move out or try something new.

Now, I think I have enough of IT jobs, I am longing for a drastic change. Therefore, I started to survey for distance learning for food sciences or nutrition. I did come across this university which offer distance learning for some interesting courses. Feel free to check out capella university.

Writing Inspiration

As a blogger my writing inspiration is coming from emotion and feelings. I have many unfinished blog not because I purposely put it there but is just that my emotion suddenly changed due to the distractions.

Writing blog also an expression of my feeling now. Normally I will take one person as my target audience and I will write the post that meant for that person. This is basically how I get my inspiration. What about you?

Angel Pass-by

Have you ever come across to the occasion when everybody is talking happily but all out of sudden everyone will just stop speaking (total silence!) for about few second and then back to chatting and noisy again?

One of the Malay friends told me that this is because of the angel is passing by and therefore everybody is quiet to show the respect. I think if it is really true then the angel must be always around me because everyone also went into silence each time after my turn to spoke out some opinions…

Do you know what is the latest communication for nowadays? If you think is 3G, msn, phone, bla bla bla then you are wrong! Let me tell you – is blogging!

Unbelievable but trust me, it is true. Lately the peoples will tend to spend more time in reading friends/families blog to get their updates instead of phone call or meeting face to face. Same as for blogger, nowadays we will send our blog link to others over the email or msn to cut short the conversation. Anything just pastes the link then can ask them to read by themselves. Very effective yet convenience because if wanna further the topic then only use msn/phone.

Still don't believe? Then what are you doing here now? Hahaa…

Outsource

The main reason I am forcing my boss to convert me to permanent is because I want to enjoy the benefits/condition when the company outsource.

It is already 120% that my department will be outsourced because we are the second easier department other than helpdesk. As contractor my path is not secure because the company didn't guarantee we would remain to our position when the new company take over. Further my vendor experience is telling me that my role can easily been taken and I might loose my job any time.

So in order for me to play safe I better get the conversion done before it is too late. I know my boss hate it when I keep asking the status during our 1 to 1 but sorry boss cause who doesn’t selfish when comes to money right?

Repeat Course

The college i studied in is very strict and they have the policy whereby student must pass all the subjects without failing any, not even one. Otherwise will have to repeat the course for 1 whole year and not reseat the paper only. My friend is so unfortunate and required to repeat the studies for 1 year because he failed few subjects during the final year examination.

He is not the student that usually fail in the exam but i think the major reason is because he is distracting and under stress. As you know whoever that is under such stressful and strict environment will also experiencing lower performance. Therefore I am indeed pity him as I can barely passes all the subjects also.

In fact I am thinking to recommend him to capella university because I believe he can do better in less stress environment. Exercise

I am neither the athlete type nor the heavy-duty category. Today in toilet break I met with this mister who is quite a plump size body. We talked about exercise as he is going to have futsal after work.

I can’t answer him when he asked me what is my favorite sport. To tell you the truth the first thing came into my mind is sleeping, but that is out of the category. Therefore by trying hard to think over and over again (within few seconds) then finally I gave up and answered him I don't exercise. (Looser…) The most is to climb up or down the stairs. (pai sei la…)

In fact I have been thinking over now when I back to my cub. I think it is necessary for me to really start exercise because I am not young anymore and I am getting fatter! Most important is I still wanna go traveling healthily! That’s the goal of my life. So peoples, lets start exercise >>> Starting from finger. Yeah!

Call Coaching

I am working from the call center background and our call is being recorded and monitored to ensure the quality. Every year we will have a new set of scorecard and call coaching is actually one of the crucial points to judge our customer service skill.

When I first started my call was monitored by my team leader then has been changed to a dedicated quality analyst because she have the professionalism in coaching. On top of her experience from call center our company also send her to the market training in order to improve and suits our business environment.

But from what I know now other than market’s training courses capella university is also offering a much more completed coaching course. I think in the near future there will be more professional coacher that will help the organization to improved.

Kitchen Blind

I have this trouble where I don't know how exactly to find a perfect blind for my window at the kitchen.

Talented

Today only I found out that actually my colleagues are very talented. It all happened when I passed by a cubicle and spotted the violin.

Later then only I found out that in fact there are a hidden band of these Unix geeks whom can played quite a good music. They are so kind to form a temp live band for me outside the balcony and played the violin and guitar.

Perhaps I should polish up my voice so next time I could join them as a lead singer. Muahahaa…

Annual Dinner

Just a couple of months ago my former company has held a annual dinner event for all the staffs. The theme of the event is Oscar. Staffs are required to dress to kill at this glamorous event. Studies

Recently I just met this new friend who has been stopped his studies after high school graduation, which is about 10 years ago. Today he is telling me that he was unable to find a good income job because most of the corporate or better position would require either degree or professional certificate.

Summer Program

I got 3 nephews ranging from 8 to 13 years old. Apart from sending them to different tuition center I will also subscribe them to various camps/programs during their school holiday. Blogging is contagious. Lately I notice quite a lot of my friends start writing blog. Somemore is not only 1 or 2 lines but few paragraph long one.

Conference at Home

I just had my very first conference experience at home during night time. It was initiated because we need to provide a presentation to Europe and AM and therefore chose 2100 our time here.

In fact this is only the dry run whereby no real presentation is gonna conduct but only testing out the connection and equipment. Perhaps I brought bad luck (because I am the first who cannot connect), the group decided not to use the Net Meeting as the medium but prefer to switch back the old way – email the slides to all audience.

We are not sure is happy or not, but later after this dry run my team member IM me say the organizer may want to cancel the presentation… Damn, waste of time…

Running Out of Interim

Lunch Buddy

During my first job I used to have tons of lunch buddies. I don’t even need to worry who to go out with cause I can just pop by the canteen and join any groups.

Lately the lunch buddy also seems not to going with me and hence most of the time I will eat myself at the canteen. Pity me…

My Dream House

What is your dream home? Have you ever think of what kind of house you will go to stay for the rest of your life when you retired, or where should you buy that house?

For me I prefer the house nearby the green, either it can see mountain, grass, forest or even golf course will do. Other than green then must have water around. Cooling and yet can hibernate. I don't have a particular type of houses but if possible then I will go for the wooden one.

Teleconference

After the email war, lets talk about teleconferencing. I think for me teleconferencing is the second best approach to see how fake your colleagues are. (Face to face still the best. Hehee…)

Due to the logistic differences we are force to have conference with the colleagues far2 away so that we can save 10 or 20 email instead of chaining it 100. After all results still the same. Like today I just had one and basically chasing the piece of work since day 1 but yet haven’t complete by my lovely colleague. Somehow in the teleconference she can tell us all the work has been completed and only left minor to update.

Well, trust me. I almost vomit blood when I received her ‘completed work’ because almost 90% of the list still unattended. Damn her. Under the fire covers my eyes I shoot an email back with all my statistic analysis and indirectly telling her the work is only 10% DONE!

I wonder how much faker a person can be if we have face to face meeting. Must be very the interesting.

I think this is happening to all of the company employees where everyday they have to fight over the email. Sometime 1 email can chain up to 10 or 20 because some peoples just like to reply here reply there.

The best is when comes to cross department and involved multiple opinions. OMG, trust me you will never want to see how complicated of 1 simple email separated to different topics and conversation. Then more works and more political issues yet the people can still follow the story (honestly I can’t…)

I was lost track so many many times because of the email wars and sometimes the same email chained back to me for my actions due to other don't know who far far away opinions. Isn’t that ridiculous? But trust me, it does happen, and happened it every single god damn day!

Jam No More

Finally after the 4 years of waiting (in fact I think is since I moved here) the road condition around Sg Buloh has no longer congested.

This is the black area for traffic due to the rising population and subsequently I had been the victim since then. There was once period the condition worse to the top because they demolished the flyover and causing us, the resident have to make a big u-turn from the 2-way jam jam road.

However the situation finally got fixed because the construction is nearly done and most importantly the road is opened for public with 3 lanes. Bravo, but I still don’t advise you to come over in case there is any final fix up on the road. Then you will say I lied to you. Hahaa…

Kauai

I got this lady picture from BGW. I think it is the random picture for my profile when I first signed up. The lady is quite pretty and hence from then on I use the same pictures across all my blog registration, including MSN.
