I started of learning Japanese since 2002/2003. It was provided by the ex-company because we are working in call center and encourage in picking up more languages.
The courses have been continuing for about 1-2 year (too long, cant remember) and we are there just for fun because nobody will take it seriously, at least I am not. But thanks to the heads up from the course I took the exam few years after that and surprisingly I passed with high mark…
Maybe the confidence level was high and therefore now I am back in next level. I am not sure why I so keen in learning that since not applying at work not wanna work in Japan. Just that… dunno why.
