I just came back from my team building. We call it the away day of our department. My current company is so good because they willing to spend the money for each department to go for a trip. Therefore this time we chose Bukit Tinggi – a French theme park surrounded by the hills and nature. Best of all, it was just 30 minutes drive to Genting Highland – where this is the only place in Malaysia that have the licensed casino.
We spent 2 days 1 night stay in Bukit Tinggi and the event was great. Despite of having a lot of fun, the night seems to be very dull as all the shops closed very early. (FYI there is only one street of shops and that is less than a mile long). I was thinking to go Genting Highland for the casino alone but however going from one hill to another is not easy. Although it was just about 30 minutes drive from Bukit Tinggi to Genting Highland but due to the road condition (dark, sloppy and no lamppost) it is a very difficult task. Furthermore my friend doesn’t want to follow and therefore I ended up staying in the hotel room watching TV.
In fact I am very regretted for not bringing my laptop because if I did, I can at least logon to online betting without needed to drive for the casino. Due to this lesson I think I will bring my laptop together on next year team building.

Car Insurance
Nowadays almost everything can be insured regardless of life, assets, luggage or sometime even Business Insurance also.
For me other than life and medical, I got car insurance also. As usual our insurances here is renew once a year and mine is expiring end of this month. However I don't really have to worry much because all the while my friend is helping me to settle the admin work and all I have to do is just pay the total amount of money.
Anyhow I wont be worry if one day my friend is no longer working for the administration. Because as what I know there are many Online Insurance Policy which provides customer variety of choices at the most convenient, lowest deals and best services.

Going HK
A closed friend of mine is getting married to HK this October. On top of attending her Kuantan and KL’s wedding dinner we are also invited to attend her HK dinner.
Well having to say it will be fun especially the 4 of us have never been travel to so far ever (although many times on local trips especially treasure hunt). Therefore I have started my researches for the trip. Initially she has found us the local tour trips with cheap flight ticket but somehow I have turned her down due to the work excuse.
But after the kind volunteer helping help from my colleague, I am ready to go but shorter stay. I think this time I must not let any one else down since Matta fair is tomorrow.

Snack Machine
Remembered I have blog about the vending machine before? Yes so far our culture here is only provide the vending machine for carbonated drinks. Unlike the advance country like US, UK or Japan they have almost everything in the box.
As for me I hope my company will buy a snack machine. We have the convenient store selling various candies but however I would prefer it in the machine because the store is not 24x7. Replenish of the snack is easy by just buying the bulk candy from specific vendor.
So mister director, if you happen to see my blog, please make sure my wish is granted before I move on to another company. Haha…

Battle of the Summonses
It was so disappointed when I found out the discount is only meant for the summonses that issued by KL only. I have so prepared by wake up earlier, bring sufficient money and travel all the way to the place to pay the bill. Sigh…
Anyway the good news is the police officers informed that I might get discounted if I go back to the originated issued police district. I think gotta take one day play work from home and sneak to settles summonses. Sigh…

Road Hunting
If you plan to visit Malaysia then I will strongly suggest you to find a proper car rental company on top of just the basic accommodation and flight tickets. As a Malaysian I truly understand that it is very important to move around the city/states/country without transportation. Although there are many bus routes, train, LRT etc but the best way of moving around is by car.
Say for example, if you happened to live in KL and wanna travel to Genting. Taking bus is convenient but will be limited by the time, flexibility of accommodation and the time in looking for foods. As FYI the foods at the downhill are welknown of super delicious and therefore you will be regret to miss it.
Another great experience by vacation rental in Malaysia is you can have an adventurous trip ever. Because the road sign will hardly point you to the correct destination (even myself will lost in KL sometimes...). It was like driving in the maze but I think it will be the best way to experience KL as the hunting trip. Ironically but true, otherwise I wont be joining treasure hunt for so many times.
