It seems like many shocking news lately. Mostly deceased, like Micheal Jackson, Farah F., Teoh Beng Hock, H1N1, and Yasmine Ahmad.
It is truly a great lost for us with their deceased, but out of all these famous celebrities, the one that made me felt sorrow is the lost of Yasmine Ahmad. Like many other Malaysian, I know her through the Petronas advertisement. Tears almost burst out each time it flashes by in between the Chinese New Year variety shows.
Maybe others nationality will not feel the way we felt, because Yasmine truly understand Malaysian and reflect them on the TV screen. She crossed the races and make it really one Malaysia. It's a great lost she passed on, but it is a gift to see people influenced/inspired by her are continuing her ONE spirit.
I am so anxious to await for the next CNY ads. Hope to see her smile behind the short touching story again.
