I discovered this place from the TV travelouge hosted by Chooi Ling, the Astro girl. She was sent to this place and visits the mysteriously beautiful scene and it was aired at Wah Lai Toi weekly.
Although it is just a small small village that covers by the snow and mountains, and even require a 3 hours train ride from Tokyo plus 1 additional hour of car ride just to get in there, I am actually thinking to include this place in my journey of wandering Japan.
